An independent source carried out a comparative test on DAO
programs
In 1997/98, the University of Vienna, Austria carried out a scientific research study
for a doctoral project ( Redlein et Rohrhofer, 1998)
on the financial repercussions of the use of DAO software, in architectural and engineering
offices.
Given its relevance, this study is renewed every year.
The result of the search are surprising, and also gratifying for ABIS.
ABIS obtains the best quality/price ratio and the most positive mention concerning
the training stages.
DAO profitability
Conventionally, the coefficient 1.00 is attributed to drawing without DAO
(hand-drawing).
Since the 1997/98 study, only two programs have been able to generate a positive financial
report.
ABIS obtained a coefficient of productivity of 1.78 (=78% more productive than hand-drawing !)
while the closest competitor only obtained 1.42 (+42%).
All of the other products achieved a result below 1.00 !
